We acted as Cost Consultants and CDM Consultant to Longmartin Properties Ltd (a joint Venture between Shaftesbury plc and The Mercers Company) on this prestigious central London mixed use development.
The multi-phased development provided 33 new residential apartments, 25 retail units (totalling 70,000ft²), 30,000ft² of bars and restaurants, and 70,000ft² of Category B offices.
A brand new public courtyard, has been created, around which this fully let development was constructed, comprising of a number of adjoining new-build, refurbished and extended buildings in contrasting architectural styles.
As with any development of this size, nature and location, there were particular challenges relating to phasing, existing occupants, archaeology and statutory authorities.
A phased handover of the retail, office and residential sections resulted in an overall completion in March 2011.
