Hother Associates acted as Quantity Surveyors and Contract Administrators on the adaptation and refurbishment of the basement and roof terrace of the Grade 2 listed property.

The OEA provides care and assistance for Thai students studying in the UK via the Royal Thai Embassy.  The project consisted of upgrading areas within the basement to provide bedrooms, a communal kitchen and dining areas, enhanced circulation areas and a new roof terrace.

Works were undertaken while the facility remained in full use.

Access and sequencing made this a challenging project, but the innovative use of space and materials transformed the area into a pleasant living space.
