Hother Associates acted as Quantity Surveyors & Employer’s Agent for the Wingrove Properties Ltd on the extension and refurbishment of this three star riverside hotel.

This phased extension and refurbishment project provided thirteen extra bedrooms, a completely re-fitted and re-located kitchen, upgraded management offices and full new restaurant, bar and public areas.

Throughout the whole of the works, through careful logistical planning, the hotel remained open to the public and fully operational.

The upgraded hotel now makes much better use of its river frontage, through extension of the existing conservatory and increased access through it for interior and exterior dining. The resultant bar/restaurant is a bright and modern location from breakfast, through lunch, to dinner.

The building contract incorporated new mechanical and electrical services, complete new bedroom and bathroom fit-outs and the provision (within the contract) of new furniture, beds and artwork.

A state-of-the-art commercial kitchen was also provided to match the hotel’s improved image.
