Overlooking the runways of Heathrow Airport is a seven-storey building which underwent complete re-cladding and fitting out for Threadneedle Property Investments Ltd, acting as fund manager for Allied Dunbar Assurance plc. Hother Associates were Cost Consultants and CDM Consultant.
Heathrow House comprises 100,000 ft2 of office accommodation on seven floors with a completely new fully glazed reception area. The existing 1970’s pre-cast concrete cladding was replaced with a fully glazed curtain walling system.
The building was fitted out with new suspended ceilings, raised floors and dry-lined wall finishes and the common parts were fully refurbished.
Full air conditioning was provided from roof top plant and the building also now benefits from four new feature lifts.
