Hother Associates were appointed as Contract Administrators, Cost Consultants and CDM Consultant for the fast-track fit-out of The Telegraph Media Group’s new 120,000 sq ft headquarters, situated directly above London Victoria station. Fourteen IT, computer and comms rooms were constructed and handed over early to the client, to allow the installation and testing of computer and comms equipment whilst other building works were still in progress. In addition, editorial and office areas were fitted out, a new executive suite was created, a new occupational health suite & gym were constructed, full restaurant and coffee bar facilities were provided, three new staircases were installed and the finishes & lighting within the building’s reception and common parts were enhanced.
Subsequently Hother Associates have acted as Contract Administrators and Cost Consultants for a number of further projects for The Telegraph, including the installation of a new air-conditioning system to their editorial hub, the relocation of their executive suite & enlargement of their presentation theatre and the fitting out of their Digital Futures suite.
